About Me

Hello! I am a 32 year old stay-at-home mom to 7 year old and 10 month old little girls. I spend my time taking care of my children, our 3 dogs, and my house. I needed an online space to store the recipes we love. One that I know won't disappear! Most of this blog will consist of recipes we enjoyed but may occasionally contain other information. 

Some things about me: 

I love desert and steak. I don't love cooking and baking but I love eating. 

I have grand aspirations of being super crafty, and it usually turns out the way I want. However, I lose interest in projects as quickly as I gain it. I'd say I am a "jack of all trades, master of none" kind of woman. 

Christmas is my favorite season and I'd leave decorations up all year if The Hubs would let me. 

Texas is my jam. Although Louisiana is a very close second, I wouldn't leave Texas even if I could. 

I am the WORST at keeping in touch with people, but I love my people with a fierceness you've never seen. 

I spend way too much time on Facebook, Netflix, and Pinterest but make no apologies for it. 

I have an inappropriate sense of humor which I can usually keep in check. Not always. I also curse like a sailor. That's a little easier to control. 

I live and die by schedules. If it's not written down I won't do it. If it is written down, try to stop me.

My children are stubborn and they definitely didn't get that from me. Just kidding. They did. 

I don't have a favorite candy or alcoholic beverage. I like them all. Except white wine. My husband even has me drinking whiskey now. 

I grew up in church but am not at all religious. 

I like helping. I like listening to other people's problems and offering support. I like to give advice when asked. I like to support people and let them know someone is always there.
